This technical riding at such a young age allowed him to develop incredible bike handling skills. Alan’s progression to XCO racing has been rapid and although still U23 he is already mixing it up with the top Elite men.

Alan, who is now in his final year of U23 racing has already made the move to the Elite Men category locally. Having been part of World Cup racing since a junior, he is ready to take on the World’s best for the upcoming international season. Alan was one of two South African Olympians in the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro. At just 20 years old he is making waves in the South African XCO scene and will soon be taking on the top Elite men. Alan’s drive and passion for racing is evident in his analytical approach to training ensuring he can get the most out of himself and his equipment.
